Dacorum Borough Council calls on residents to share their thoughts on how to help shape a story of their town

Dacorum Borough Council is calling on Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring residents to share their thoughts on how to help shape a powerful story of their town.

The council wants to market Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring to attract inward investment, create jobs, and support existing business in the area.

The council has commissioned ‘thinkingplace’ to work with them to develop a place narrative and marketing approach for Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring.

This will help the council market the area to attract inward investment and create jobs, and support existing business in the area.

On the council's website it says: "We want to use the new story to build local pride and confidence in our great towns, and to help us market our area as we reignite our economy post coronavirus.

"We want to hear what makes you proud about your place, how you feel about the area and how you might like it to develop in the future."

To do this, thinkingplace is hosting a series of ‘virtual’ workshops via Zoom, to seek residents' insight, thoughts and knowledge to help shape a powerful story for Hemel Hempstead, Berkhamsted and Tring.
